How do my customers receive downloaded products?
A customer purchasing a downloadable product from a Quick Shopping Cart storefront, receives a separate email with download instructions and a link to the purchased product.
NOTE: If the purchase was made with a credit card and the Quick Shopping Cart credit card payment options are set to "Pre-Authorization," the download email is sent immediately after the transaction is completed. If the payment is set to "Authorized," the Quick Shopping Cart merchant must manually capture the funds and mark the order as "Shipped" before the download email is sent.
If the purchase was not made with a credit card, the download email is sent after the order is set to "Shipped".
The download email is similar to the email below. However, this content is subject to change, so use this information only as a guideline.
