Managing Domain Name Preset Profiles
Preset Profiles let you select a combination of preset attributes that you can automatically apply to your domain names. You create the profile in your Domain Manager and specify which attributes to include, such as locking and automatic renewal. Once you create the profile, you can add domain names to the profile to update them.

Adding Domain Names to a Preset Profile
After creating a Preset Profile in the Domain Manager, you can update domain names to match the attributes in the profile by adding them to the profile.
You can only add a domain name to one Preset Profile.
NOTE: Attributes of a profile override the domain name's attributes. If you move a domain name from one profile to another, the domain name's attributes change to match the new profile.
If you do not include an attribute in the preset profile, that attribute does not update when you add domain names to the profile. For example, you add your hosted coolexample.com domain name and parked example.com domain name to a profile that does not include the Set Nameservers attribute. Both domain names retain their existing nameservers. That is, coolexample.com still uses hosted nameservers and example.com still uses parked nameservers.
To Add Domain Names to a Preset Profile
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Next to Domains, click Launch.
- Select the domain names you want to add to a profile.
- From the Organize menu, select Add to Preset Profile.
- From Preset Profile, select the profile you want to use.
- If the Profile includes contact information that differs from contact information currently associated with the domain name, you might be prompted to select I authorize a 60-day rejection.... When prompted, you must authorize this rejection to proceed with the process.
NOTE: When you change the following domain name registrant information, you authorize us to reject all requests to transfer the domain name to another registrar for a 60-day period:
• Registrant First or Last Name (if Organization is blank)
• Organization (if not blank) - Click OK.
Deleting Domain Names from a Preset Profile
You can delete a domain name from a preset profile. Deleting it does not delete the profile; it does not delete the domain name from your account; it does change the domain name attributes. Once you delete a domain name from a profile, the profile no longer updates it.
