Revoking an SSL Certificate
Revoking your SSL certificate cancels it, and immediately removes HTTPS from the website. Depending on your Web host, your website might display errors or become temporarily inaccessible. The process cannot be reversed.
Revoking is not necessary if your website moved servers or you lost your private key. In most situations, you can easily re-key your SSL certificate. For more information, see Re-Keying an SSL Certificate.
