Finding Your Hosting Account's IP Address

Your hosting account's IP address is the address computers use to access it, both for browsing your website (HTTP) and uploading files to it (FTP). For instance, if your domain name isn't using your hosting account's IP address as its primary A record in its DNS settings, your website won't load the files on your hosting account.

To Locate Your Hosting IP Address

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.

    3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click the Launch button.

    Your IP address displays in the IP Address field in the Server Details column.
