Traffic Service with Dream Design Sites
The Dream Design Team® offers a free traffic service to increase the number of visitors to your Dream Design website.
Traffic Service includes site submission to major search engines using Search Engine Visibility, and an email report that tells you about your site's visitors. Traffic Service is a specialized site submission service that is charged as one month of your Site Updates time. It cannot be completed until your Dream Design site is live and it does not include Search Engine Visibility.
To Request Traffic Service
To request Traffic Service, log in to your Design Manager, go to the Actions menu, and then click Request Traffic Service. A pop-up screen guides you through providing the required information. Once you complete the form, click Submit. Your request should take 7-10 days to complete.
Traffic Reporting
The monthly traffic report shows the following statistics for your website:
- Summary - An overview of the number of visits to the site and overall number of pages viewed.
- Visitors - The number of visits and visitors to the site.
- Page Views - The number of times a page has been accessed.
- Referring URLs - Specific pages on the Internet that refer visitors to your site.
- Search Engines - Search engines used by visitors that provided links to your site.
- Keywords and Key Phrases — Identifies the most common search terms visitors are using when they find your website.
NOTE: These are keywords visitors associate with your site, and can be used to update the meta keyword tag on each page to increase search engine hits. You can apply your monthly site updates to request changes to your meta keyword tags.
Search Engine Submission
Your site is submitted to various search engines for inclusion in their indexes. We can not guarantee inclusion in any specific search engines. Search engines can take anywhere from days to months to include your site in their listings. Use your monthly listing report to view how many pages of your site are listed by a specific search engine.
