Sharing Photos, Videos, and Galleries in Website Builder
Once you've published your Photo Album, Website Builder creates hyperlinks to your public galleries and photos and videos. These hyperlinks remain valid as long as your Photo Album is published.
You can create hyperlinks to galleries, individual photos, and videos, and to all photos associated with a tag. You can share these hyperlinks with friends and family so they can view your photos and videos as often as they want.
NOTE: Your galleries must be published for you to share.
Publishing Your Photo Album
You can publish your Photo Album and share hyperlinks to your public galleries and photos and videos.
To Publish Your Photo Album
- Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
- Click the Photos and Videos tab. The Photos and Videos page displays.
- Click Publish Gallery Site, and then click Yes.
NOTE: The Publish Gallery Site option only displays if your galleries were never published. To verify your galleries are published, go to the Settings tab, click Photos and Videos Settings, select Publish my galleries as a website, and then click Save.
You can now share hyperlinks to your galleries, photos and videos.
Sharing Your Galleries
You can share a hyperlink to let others view a gallery you created in your Photo Album.
To Share Your Galley
- Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
- Click the Photos and Videos tab. The Photos and Videos page displays.
- Click the thumbnail of the gallery you want to share.
- Click the Thumbnail button.
- Click Share. The Share window displays.
- Select the style of hyperlink you want.
- Copy the URL. You can now paste the URL in an email, add it to a Web page, or send it in a message.
Sharing Your Photos or Videos
You can share a hyperlink to let others view a photo or video you uploaded to your Photo Album.
To Share Your Photo or Video
- Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
- Click the Photos and Videos tab. The Photos and Videos page displays.
- Click the thumbnail of the gallery that contains the photo you want to share.
- Click the Filmstrip button.
- Click the Share button. The Share window displays.
- Select either Link to item or Link to site.
- Select the image size to display.
- Select the style of hyperlink you want.
- Copy the URL. You can now paste the URL in an email, add it to a Web page, or send it in a message.
Sharing Tagged Photos
You can share a hyperlink to let others view all the photos you've associated with a tag in your Photo Album.
To Share Tagged Photos
- Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
- Click the Photos and Videos tab. The Photos and Videos page displays.
- Click the thumbnail of the gallery that contains the tagged photo you want to share.
- Click the name of the tag you want to share.
- Click the Share button. The Share window displays.
- Select the style of hyperlink you want.
- Copy the URL. You can now paste the URL in an email, add it to a Web page, or send it in a message.
