Changing Your Hosting Account (FTP/Panel) Password and Username

You can change the credentials you use to log in to your account via FTP, which lets you upload files to your account using an FTP client.

To Change Your Hosting Account Login

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  4. From the Settings section, click FTP Users
  5. Next to the FTP user you want to modify, from the Actions menu, select either Change Password or Change Username.
  6. Enter the new information you want to use, and then click Update.
