You can change your Windows-based hosting account's ASP.NET version on our Windows-based hosting accounts.

Note: ASP.NET 3.5 runtime is backward compatible with versions 3.0 and 2.0.

To Change Your Hosting Account's ASP.NET Version

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  4. In the Settings section of the Hosting Control Panel, click the Programming Languages icon.
  5. Select the ASP.NET Version version you want to use.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click Update.
