Managing Spam Settings in the Email Control Center
While junk email might be worth a laugh or two, it's not funny when it overruns your inbox. You can use the Email Control Center's features for spam management to prevent unsolicited junk email from clogging up your inbox.
To Manage Spam Settings
- Log in to your HostingDude Account Manager.
- Click Email.
- In the Email Account list, click Launch next to the account you want to change. The Email Control Center displays.
- In the Actions section, click Edit Email Address. The Edit Mailbox window displays.
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Recommended: To enable spam filtering, select Enable spam filtering for this account. If you don't select this option, all email messages will deliver to your Inbox, including potential spam.
- From the Behavior menu, select one of the following:
- Recommended: Deliver to Bulk Mail Folder — Suspected spam delivers to your Bulk Mail folder. You can review it at your convenience.
- Mark Subject With [SPAM] — Suspected spam delivers to your Inbox with [SPAM] in the subject line.
- Restricted Mode — All mail delivers to your Bulk Mail folder, unless the sender is on your Allowed List. For more information, see Blocking and Allowing Email Addresses and Domains in Workspace Email.
- Click OK.
