Yes. If you're using the Workspace Desktop Drive Map with Microsoft Windows® 7 to access files in your Online Storage account, a network setting on your computer can increase performance.
Drive Map runs faster when you disable your local area network (LAN) from automatically detecting settings. You can also disable it using Microsoft Internet Explorer®. For more information, see Managing Drive Map Settings in Workspace Desktop Tools.
To Increase Drive Map Performance Using Windows 7
- From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
- Click Internet Settings.
- Go to the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
- De-select Automatically detect settings.
To Increase Drive Map Performance Using Internet Explorer
- Open Internet Explorer.
- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Go to the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
- De-select Automatically detect settings.
