Adding Image Galleries in Website Builder

Image galleries are collections of images that you can add to your Web pages in Website Builder. You can also manage the layouts of your image galleries with features such as Lightbox.
To Add an Image Gallery
- Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
- Click Design Your Pages.
- If necessary, from the Current Page menu, select the page that you want to modify.
- Click Popular, and then drag and drop the Image Gallery icon over a Drop Zone. Drop Zones display on your Web pages when you hover over them.
- Select a source for creating your image gallery, and then complete its steps:
- Gallery — Lets you import images from image gallery accounts to create your collection. Select the image gallery account you want to import and the specific gallery that contains the images you want, click Add, and then click OK.
- Individual — Lets you insert individual images from the Image Library or images that you uploaded to create your collection. Click Select Images, select the images you want to use, and then click OK.
- To manage display options for your image galleries, go to the Settings tab, select the option you want to use, and then perform the steps for that option:
- Thumbnails — Displays image galleries in thumbnail sizes.
- To display image titles when visitors mouse over images, from the Show image titles menu, select Yes.
- Select the Columns and Rows you want to display.
- To re-shape images after cropping, from the Image resizing menu, select Square, Portrait, or Landscape.
- Go to the Preview tab, and then make sure your image collection displays correctly.
- Click OK. The image collection displays in your content block.
- Slideshow — Displays image galleries in a slideshow.
- To display image titles with slideshows when visitors mouse over images, from the Show image titles menu, select Above or Below.
- To display a bar letting visitors scroll slideshows, select Show control bar.
- From the Control Bar Location menu, select where you want to display the control bar.
- Go to the Preview tab, and then make sure your image collection displays correctly.
- Click OK. The image collection displays in your content block.
- Animated slideshow — Displays image galleries in an animated slideshow.
- From the Image Size menu, select a size for the images.
- To expand images to fill the entire slide, select Scale images.
- From the Slide Speed menu, select a speed for images to play.
- For slideshow to start playing when visitors reach the page, select Auto Play.
- From the Effects menu, select an animation effect.
- To display image titles when visitors mouse over them, from the Show image titles menu, select Above or Below.
- To display a bar that lets visitors scroll through the slideshow, select Display Control Bar.
- From the Control Bar Location menu, select where you want to display the control bar.
- From the Thumbnail Strip menu, select where you want to display thumbnail images.
- From the Thumbnail Size menu, select a size for the thumbnails.
- To expand your images to fill the entire thumbnail, select Scale Thumbnail.
- Go to the Preview tab, and then make sure your image collection displays correctly.
- Click OK. The image collection displays in your content block.
- Lightbox — Displays image galleries in a window over Web pages.
- From the Image Size menu, select Small, Medium, Large, or Custom.
- To display image titles when visitors click images, from the Show image titles menu, select Yes.
- Go to the Preview tab, and make sure your image collection displays correctly.
- Click OK. The image collection displays in your content block.
- Thumbnails — Displays image galleries in thumbnail sizes.
To see your changes online, you must publish your website.
