Adding Calendars and Event Calendars in Website Builder
Website Builder lets you add calendars to your Web pages for your visitors' convenience. You can also add event calendars, which lets your visitors view your upcoming or recurring events.
NOTE: Event calendars are only available in Deluxe or Premium plans. For information about upgrading your plan, see Upgrading or Downgrading Your Website Builder Plan.
To Add a Calendar in Website Builder
- Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
- Click Design Your Pages.
- If necessary, from the Current Page menu, select the page that you want to modify.
- Click Apps, and then drag and drop the Calendar icon over a Drop Zone. Drop Zones display on your Web pages when you hover over them.
To Add an Event Calendar in Website Builder
- Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
- Click Design Your Pages.
- If necessary, from the Current Page menu, select the page that you want to modify.
- Click Apps, and then drag and drop the Event Calendar icon over a Drop Zone. Drop Zones display on your Web pages when you hover over them.
- In the Calendar Name section, enter a name for your calendar.
- In the Calendar Size section, select either Full Size or Compact.
- In the Calendar Style section, select how you want your calendar to display.
- In the Display Calendar Title section, enter the title for your calendar that will display on your website.
- From the Display Month list, select the month that you want to display for your calendar.
- From the Display Year list, select the year that you want to display for your calendar, and then click Add Event.
- From the Event Details window, complete the following steps:
- In the What field, enter a title for the event.
- In the Where field, enter a location for the event.
- From the Start section, select a start date and time for the event.
- From the End section, select an end date and time for the event.
- To specify that the event will last the entire day, select All day.
- In the Description field, enter the details of the event.
- To tag an event for something such as an appointment, next to Event tag, click Add, enter a title, select a color, and then click OK.
- To select an existing event tag, from the Select tag menu, select an event tag.
- To delete an event tag, next to Event tag, click Delete.
- To copy an event, next to Copy Event, click Copy.
- Click OK.
- If you are finished adding events, click OK.
- To delete an event calendar, move your mouse over the Event Calendar, go to the gear icon, and then click Delete Block.
To see your changes online, you must publish your website.
