Uploading Files and Folders Using the File Manager

NOTE: Before you start, click here to see which version of the FTP File Manager is in your Control Panel. This help article applies to the New FTP File Manager. If you are using the Classic FTP File Manager, see Uploading Files through Your Control Panel.

Using the File Manager, you can upload multiple files and folders to your hosting account.

There are different ways you can upload files and folders to your hosting account.

To Upload Files Using the File Manager Upload Tool

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
4. From the Tools section, click File Manager.
5. Use the directory tree to select the folder you want to upload the file to.
6. Click Upload.
7. Select to Add file or Add folder. You can upload up to 250MB at a time.
8. Select the file or folder to upload.
9. Click Upload.

To Upload Files and Folders Using Drag and Drop in the File Manager

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. Click Web Hosting.
3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
4. From the Tools section, click File Manager.
5. Use the directory tree to select the folder you want to upload the file to.
6. Locate the file or folder on your desktop. Click and drag the file or folder to the destination folder in the File Manager. You can upload up to 250MB at a time.

   NOTE: Using CTRL+Shift you can upload multiple files and folders.
