I uploaded my files. Why isn't my website displaying?
If your website isn't displaying after you have uploaded your files, check the following items:
- Verify that you uploaded your files to the appropriate directory. Some FTP clients will ask for a "Home" or "Start" directory. Our hosting service does not require this. Make sure that you left the box blank. If the client requires a value, enter a single forward slash (i.e., /) for Linux accounts and a single forward slash followed by your hosting name (i.e., /<user name>) for Windows accounts.
For additional information, see Uploading Files to Your Website (FTP).
NOTE: When publishing or editing with FrontPage, it will automatically place the folders in the correct location.
- Make sure that you named the first page of your website "index.htm" or "default.htm."

What is the Order of Precedence for the Default Files on my Windows Hosting Account? - Ensure that your DNS is pointed correctly.

- If all of the above are correct, try refreshing your Web browser.
