Explaining Website Protection Web Risk Assessment and Site Scanner
Website Protection has two different products: Web Risk Assessment and Site Scanner. While they are similar, it's important to note the similarities and differences within these products, so you know your needs are met.
The Similarities Between Web Risk Assessment and Site Scanner
Both Web Risk Assessment and Site Scanner scan your website to check for vulnerabilities. Neither product resolves the vulnerabilities or removes anything it finds, though. However, they both provide information to assist in resolving these vulnerabilities, including direct access to our security experts.
The Differences Between Web Risk Assessment and Site Scanner
Site Scanner is a web application vulnerability scanner that scans your website daily for vulnerabilities and malware links. Site Scanner does not verify the validity of any of the potential vulnerabilities that it may find. This means that there is potential for false positives in the reports that you may receive.
Web Risk Assessment uses both automated and manual processes to examine the overall security of your web application. All of the findings that are delivered in the report have been verified by our security experts. The Web Risk Assessment does not include looking at your content for the presence of malware.
