You can retrieve email from several Hosted Exchange Email addresses in Outlook®. Only one email address can be configured to use Exchange, however. Set up additional email addresses as POP or IMAP accounts.

NOTE: Use these instructions if you are setting up a second Hosted Exchange Email mailbox in Outlook or Entourage®. This is not intended for use with other email clients that support Exchange, or for users with no other Exchange accounts in their email client.

Before continuing, you need to know which version of Exchange your mailbox uses. For more information, see Finding Your Hosted Exchange Email Version.

To Set Up Your Hosted Exchange Email Address as POP or IMAP

  1. Launch Outlook.
  2. From the Tools menu, select Account Settings.
  3. In the Account Settings window, click New.
  4. If you already have one or more email addresses set up in your Outlook client, select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, and then click Next.
  5. On the Auto Account Setup page, complete the following:
    • Your Name — Enter your name or a name you want to assign to this email address.
    • Email Address — Enter your email address.
    • Password and Retype Password — Enter and then re-enter the password for your email address.
    • Manually configure server settings — Select this option.
