Using Custom URLs to Access Web-Based Email

You can configure your domain's CNAME records to access Workspace Webmail from http://email.coolexample.com, where coolexample.com is your domain name. CNAME records create aliases for your domain name to point to another server. In this example, your "email" CNAME record is aliased to email . secureserver . net (without the spaces).

NOTE: If you want to use any CNAME record besides those provided in this article, you must use your full email address to log in to your email account.

Update your CNAME records with your hosting provider. If your domain name is registered and hosted with us, your CNAMES are automatically configured as listed below.

Your CNAME records differ based on your email server's location.

To Find Your Email Server's Location

1. Log in to your HostingDude Account LOGIN.
2. From the Help menu, click About.

Your email server's location displays. Click on the location below for your CNAME records.

We also offer additional, optional CNAME record configurations for third party email clients or alternative URLs to access your Workspace Webmail. These CNAMEs do not affect your ability to send or receive email.
