Resolving Open Issues in Website Protection Site Scanner
If Website Protection Site Scanner identifies issues for your website, click the summary to view details and suggestions for how to fix the problem.
After you fix the problems and publish your updated website, return to Site Scanner and click the green icon in the issue details to resolve the issues. After a scan verifies an issue is no longer present, Site Scanner removes it from the Open Issues list.
Your site seal is revoked if your website has malware, or if you do not resolve issues within 72 hours of receiving a failing score. For more information, see Why did my Website Protection Site Scanner seal disappear?
To Resolve Open Issues in Website Protection Site Scanner
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Website Protection.
- Click Launch next to the account you want to view the information.
- In the Open Issues column, click the green icon — — for the issue you want to resolve.
- In the Next Steps box, enter information about how you fixed the problem.
- Click OK.
Site Scanner scans your site within 24 hours to verify the resolutions and provide updated results.
