Why has my Express Email Marketing Account been suspended?
We provide you with specific instructions for setting up your Express Email Marketing® account and emailing campaigns. This is to ensure that your campaigns successfully reach your Contacts. For example, as part of our agreements with you, you agree to accept the bounce back limit and to not send spam. If we suspect that you have violated our agreements with you, we will suspend your account and/or campaign. Whenever possible we attempt to notify you prior to suspending your account.
Below are reasons why your account may be suspended. To resolve an issue, please contact Abuse@SecureServer.net.
- Unverified Email Addresses — We might suspend your Express Email Marketing account if your Import List has too many unverified email addresses. If we receive bounce back emails from these addresses, we suspect the addresses have been used for spamming.
- Unverified Contacts — Unverified Contacts are Contacts who have not yet had their email confirmed by successfully receiving three email campaigns. We might suspend your Express Email Marketing account because of an excessive number of invalid email addresses from unverified Contacts in your last campaign email. If we received excessive bounce back emails for these addresses, we will not send the campaign to the remainder of your unverified Contacts.
- Spam Complaints — We might suspend your Express Email Marketing account because we received too many spam complaints. This means than an unacceptable number of recipients of your email campaign have actively flagged the message as spam and indicated that they either did not ask to receive the messages, or that they do not know who you (the sender) is.
Our Universal Terms of Service Agreement, Express Email Marketing Terms of Service Agreement, and Anti-Spam Policy require you to refrain from sending spam, as it is an illegal activity. Remember that we define spam as any message sent without the recipient’s prior consent to receive the message(s). Please review our anti-spam policies and procedures as outlined in your user agreement.
